8.
Can I shampoo and wash my braids regularly?
There are several products on the market that will
enable you to do a dry shampoo in between a regular
shampoo. We recommend, No water shampoo.
9. How often
should I return for touch-ups?
Normally every 6 weeks.
10. Will hair braiding damage my hair?
NO
11. Does braiding hurt?
Depending on your sensitivity and pain threshold.
12. How do
I remove the braids?
We provide that service for a minimal fee.
In addition,
most braids can be unwound without cutting the hair.
It's easier to get someone to help you remove your
braid than to do it yourself. If the braid has a large
knot at the end, cut just above it. Then unwind the
threads. As you unwind, keep cutting the threads short.
Some people find it easier to unwind braids while
the hair is wet. If the braid is hard to unwind, this
may be because hairs have been wound around the braid
with the threads; or if you have very fine, curly
hair the hair can become caught around the braid over
time and make it difficult to unwind.
